Greetings from the island of Ibiza, population of 84,000. One of the 4 Baleares Islands. Once a hippie enclave in the 60’s, it has forgone its bohemian roots and now is a party hungry, extravagant and excess techo beat glittering crowd in search of the next disco party. Ibiza is all about the outrageous party culture and baking on the warm sands.

The town is centered around old town and the marina. Turquoise shores by day and decadence by night. Heterosexuals gone wild! Jerry Springer could do a series from here! Of course I am only 30 lbs and 30 years late for Ibiza. LOL Come sunset, crowds appear out of nowhere and flood the streets of Ibiza’s port and old town till 3am in the morning. The energy in the streets is incredible. Then at 3am these party hungry backpackers migrate to the huge discos till dawn. The cover charges for these huge discos, (Space, Privilege, Heaven, Pacha, Amnesia) are $40-$60 Euros / $65 - $95 US just to get in. Kids save up their energy and cash every year for the opening of Ibiza’s party season. The disco bus will take you from club to club on the island till 6am. Whether it is an underwear party, a foam party, a fetish party, a naked party, or just a disco party, Ibiza is the place if you choose to partake. Club kids and exotic women in hoards hawk tickets to promote their clubs in the streets all night long.

The women are extremely firm and shapely, and the men, well lets just say I have not seen that many six packs since my last visit to 7-11 ! Yes I have determined the word “Ibiza” means the Island of no body fat !

Don’t let this scare you away from Ibiza. It can be and was a very relaxing, fun and memorable Island. For those of us with our AARP card, (sorry no club discounts with it), spending time at the beach and gawking at the crowds in the streets still make this a memorable Island visit. There is nothing like Champagne Sangria on Cavallet beach with beautiful turquoise waters and sunsets.
