Pompeii is a very cool place....that is thousands of years old. Neat to see how ancient culture lived. We took a brief stop in Pompeii to walk around the ancient city that was covered by volcanic ash over 2000 years ago. It is now uncovered and many artifacts that were incredibly preserved are on display in museums around the world, as well as on site at the city (but not as many as I would have liked!) We had a guide that informed us about all the establishments they had - which included bakeries, bars, brothels, a stadium...you name it.
