I'm becoming quite the city traveller! This morning I hoped on the trolly and transfered to the #30 bus to the Palace of Arts. All I can say is WOW! The most beautiful museum ever! I travelled out here not to see art, but to pay a visit to the Exploratorium - a kids science museum. It was the best science museum I've been to... not that I have that many under my belt - 3 to be exact... still I played nice and took my turn... not that I had much choice - the little buggers would jump up in front of me out of nowhere! Unfortunately I didn't make the tactile dome - it was sold out until the afternoon and I was on a schedule. The tactile dome is apparently a cool dark room that you have to feel around and use your senses to get out - just as well tickets were sold out, with my awesome spidy senses it would have been a waste of money anyway.

After Craig's conference, we took a ferry ride to Alcatraz. I highly recommend this tour. Admission includes award winning audio tour narrated by an actual officer and stories told by real prisoners from the rock. It was really well done. A lot  of people say this tour is really creepy. I kept waiting for the creeps, but they never came. We had supper at Bubba Gumps tonight. I think the waitress had a bit of a crush on Craig. Didn't amount to much as she didn't even give us anything for free! This restaurant is pretty cool. Awesome relics from Forest Gump and at the end of the meal, the server tests your movie knowledge. Again I surprised myself on my trivia brain. This really shouldn't have surprised me though, I'm quite the genius.

On our way to the ever so popular Guirredelli's, Craig wanted to see the sea lions. He saw them, but they certainly weren't interesting... a big lump of sea lion mass formed on a dock. I read somewhere that they're only really interesting in the morning. A few blocks to our delicious sundaes, I saved Craig from a stinky fate when two skunks jumped out on us. It's funny we had to come all the way to San Fran to see skunks this close. They were still young and cute, but I was not going to take the chance on missing out on some yummy deserts... nothing gets in my way to chocolate and ice cream... NOTHING! I was weak and Craig not strong enough - we didn't split our yankee sized deserts and I felt so sick afterwards. We forced ourselves up those nasty hills to work off the super sized snacks.
