Bypassing Redwoods National Forest, we went to a California state park instead.  As far as we could figure, though, it was exactly the same; big forests with huge awesome trees.  We drove down the Avenue of the Giants (yes, that actually is the name of the street…Anna might move there just so that could be her mailing address).  We also did a couple short walks through the shady trees, and camped at a great site in the forest far from anyone else.  This was definitely one of our favorites; we appreciate trees, and these trees were absolutely worth appreciating.
