Aix en Provence
From Aix en Provence in Aix-en-Provence, France on May 26 '07
I arrived in Aix en Provence after a three and a half hour train ride. I was excited to visit Aix-en-Provence again because the first time I traveled to France I briefly saw Aix and from that point on I knew I'd want to see Aix again. From the TGV station Brandon and me had to take a bus which cost about 1,20€ to the centre ville then from there we walked to our hotel. The hotel in Aix was quite impressive. I did not know what to expect because when our travel agent booked the hotels we wanted to keep the price down but still have hotels in good locations. By the time I settled in my hotel room it was mid afternoon. For the rest of the day Brandon and me walked around the city's main street, took pictures and enjoyed the weather and scenery. Also in Aix we were able to sit down and have a real dinner. We had a lovely meal that included pizza, bread, olives and local wine. After a long day of travel, walking and site seeing we ended the night early because we were exhausted.
