When it was announced we were going to WDW this June, it was interesting to me to realize just how many people I know that have been in the past year, or were planning to attend within the next year.  Stephanie and I both visited as children, but that was many years ago.  Neither one of us remember much, and besides that, the Park has changed just a little bit since then (sarcasm intended).  Now I feel like I can be a card-carrying member of the Walt Disney World Club, and I can talk intelligently about "hidden mickeys", "extra magic hours" and "FASTPASSes".  (Secret: I had never heard of those three things six months ago!)

I am very excited that my Mom & Dad will be driving down to Orlando with us.  They are A LOT of fun, and will certainly help keep things interesting.

A Family's First Trip to Walt Disney World.

As a person who embraces structure, I am also excited to share that we plan to religously follow the Touring Plans provided in the book, "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2007".  My co-worker, Frank, turned me on to this book, and it has been our single biggest source of information about the park.  When I say that, I am not trying to discount the wonderful advice and ideas that our neighbors (Jenny!) and friends (Chris!) have graciously shared with us.  We need all the help we can get!

I am to the point now that I have studied and prepared all that I can.  Let's hit the road!
