Our ship docked at Civitavecchia in Italy where my uncle was waiting for us.

Instead of purchasing the group tour offered by the ship, we opted to be toured by my uncle for free.

Rome wasn't built in a day, you can't tour Rome in just a day, too.

He and his family live in Rome and he works for a couple who are both in the movie industry. They also run their own family business.

Anyway, Rome has a lot of streets, wide and narrow alike. Lots of traffic and lots of motorcycles (as what a lot of people already told me). It's definitely a historic place. anywhere you go, you'd find historically significant buildings and ruins.

It was just a tour only from probably around 11am to 5pm, so we werent able to get to places much.

We were able to go inside Vatican, the center of Catholicism. We went inside St. Peter's Basilica and I took some pictures and videos using my phonecam. Michelangelo's "La Pieta" is also displayed there.

Back to Rome, we went to the Colosseo but didn't go inside anymore. There's a long queue and I think the fee is quite expensive.

We also got to see the "Boca de Verita" or "Mouth of Truth". Didnt queue up anymore, time's running out. Oh, the church where the Mouth of Truth is located is, unfortunately, under major renovation.

How I really wish we could have stayed longer.
