Margaret River - another class of wine madam?

I arrived in a cold and blustery Margaret River around 2pm. I was thankful that the manager of the YHA - Jules - (who says mate after everything) could pick me up from town and take me to the hostel. It was clean and quiet - which was nice change from the Coolibah.
On Tuesday I went on a half day wine tasting tour. I pretended to swirl and sniff it at the appropriate time, but to be honest I was more interested in drinking it. Fortunatley the other people on the tour were Australian and also following a similar drinking methodology. We went to some small vineyards (as well as larger ones) which we all agreed were more enjoyable. One of the owners seemed to enjoy his work by joining us for a class of two and making sexual innuandos at every opportunity. Apparantly a guy on the tour last week threatened to 'knock his block off!' We also visited a brewery, cheese and chocolate factory. A really good afternoon and would say we were all pretty merry after it. Couldn't get into the kitchen to make some tea (some international students looked like they were competing in Master chef - I only wanted beans on toast) so I fell asleep!
