This past weekend a friend of mine passed away. I am in England and there is nothing I can really do this far away, so I just wanted to say RIP Jay.

Living in Jensen with you freshmen year was awesome. You were one of the bravest kids I knew. When I first found out you had SF I read all about it. I was surprised to learn that you had lived much longer than your life expectancy. I remember thinking what a brave boy you were to come to college and get an education you were never sure you would be able to put to use. I would think about something like that every day, yet you always seemed to live life to the fullest. When you moved out of Jensen, Vince moved in and ohh, we missed you. :) Going to your house on Friday nights was always fun. Thanks for always letting me stash my vodka in your side table so i didn't have to carry it home. I had the best laughs with you in your kitchen. I was so excited when I thought I was going to be living in the same building as you. The thought of having a great kid like you to walk with to classes made me happy. When you moved home, sophomore year got a little more lonely. I always thought I would see you again, and I can't believe that you're gone. It's always the people that don't deserve to die early that do.

I hardly live my life to the fullest. I am always dwelling on the past or planning the future. I will try to life my life to the fullest for you Jay. I know we weren't the best of friends, but you mattered in my life, and I will make sure you always do.
