First things first, to the old court house [need it for my(emmerz) history report. We watched a movie about Dred Scott and his family for their quest for freedom. The old court house was very unique, each level in the dome had pillars and each pillar was designed for the different floors. We walked up the cool stairs, which were held up by the walls and went into the two courts that held many cases that had slaves asking for their freedoms like Dred Scott and Virginia Minor asking for her right to vote. The courts were pretty except one was more detailed than the other.

Now off to the Zoo! [we thought it we could drive through it, but it was a plain boring zoo). It was hot and there were many little kids so we decided not to go, but I did see someone's licences plate it said "OKAPI" my favorite animal!
So we left the zoo to go to the Concordia Seminary- where they train our pastors! and we finally got there after many U-turns and a lot of tourist like driving. We see a sign that says visitor center you think we would be able to find it, but we couldn't- nothing new, right? Well we started to wonder around and saw this cool tower and walked up to the building that looked like the way to get into the tower. Luckily, we ran into a student intern (Billy) and started talking, he must have know we were lost because of the deer in the headlight look . Billy took us inside and we introduced ourselves and he showed us around the campus's president's office and his secret "Library" you might know it as a bathroom. Billy also showed us one of the board rooms and a little chapel and told us what he knew of what the glass windows symbolized. Later he got the key to the stairs so we could climb to the top of the tower-the stairs were really narrow. He told us that each side of the tower represented the 4 major cities in Luther's life. At the bell tower I got to ring the bell, it was loud but it could have been louder if it rang how it normally would. Surprisingly the tower was very cool and breezy. Billy told us a lot about the architect of the building and how the stature of Luther [which was built on the ground way before the tower] was looking up at the tower. Next, Billy took us to the visitor center and then took us to the museum (sorry i forgot what it was called) it was cool, we got to see religion with the military life and Carl Ferdinand Wilhelm Walther- the founder of Concordia Seminary. We said good by to Billy and we were off heading towards Kansas City on I-74. It was getting late so he stopped in Columbia, MO.

Oops I forgot one thing. We went to Bellefontaine Cemetery, which is where many famous people are buried, like the founders of the Anheuser Bush Company, William Clark, Virginia Minor and many others. They had many cool graves and masoleums.
