Noosa Heads

Noosa is beautiful. The hostel is a clean, sunshiney relaxed place with cardboard starched sheets and balconies to eat on.

However, in noosa, ATMs took a great dislike to me and my pin number.

I blocked it by 'incorrectly' entering and was left with no cash but 50 dollars (the equivalent of 20 quid) that i thought would have to last me a week.

I was not a happy bunny.

I get very distressed when things like this happen to me when i am alone. May have broken down a little.

However, people are WONDERFUL. The reception lady gave me a chocolate bar and a milkshake, a swedish girl in my room gave me pasta and tuna and a tomato and i had a dinner fit for a king. The barman kept refilling my glass from a box of wine, so i got rather tipsy for nothing (to forget my troubles!)

I was as Blanche Dubois, depending on the kindness of strangers.

Of course as soon as i got to Hervey Bay my pin worked fine and i was rich again. Which made me instantly happy :)
