Inverness and Urquhart Castle

· We had an early start, as we didn’t want to get caught by the cops in a residential area again!! We had a good look at the city of Inverness, we then decided to head back down along Loch Ness. We stopped and got our chairs out and took ourselves down along a beach part of the Loch. We fed our faces whilst doing some Nessie spotting, nothing today but we are hopeful!! We packed up and headed to Drumnadrochit, where we checked out the Loch Ness exhibition. It was quite good and very informative though Kev was utterly disheartened as there was no definite mention that the monster is still there…. We reckon she is just hiding!!!! From there we headed to Urquhart Castle. This was great to see such ancient ruins. The day started to get ugly so we headed off to find a spot for the night. We parked next to a cute little creek. Oh did we mention we almost caught the van alight….damn tea lights!!!
