Hey everyone.

We have made it to Europe! We are spending a day in Zurich to relax after the constant travelling! As you can see in the photos we are staying at the Best Western Hotel Airport (the planes have to be enormous!)..hehehe. Zurich is a beautiful place, nice and green with lots of flower boxes everywhere. Even though we are staying near the airport but it's still very nice and peaceful. We walked around the suburb and got our first experiences of trying to cross a big language barrier by going into a shop to order food with basically no German skills whatsoever! Anna had her first wild encounter whilst trying to get change for the train. All she knew was "Sprechen sie Deutsch??" - luckily the lady she asked did otherwise it would ahve been interesting! The people here also speak French and Romansche (we think that's how you spell it). Mostly German in this part though. I'm pretty sure we'll be guns at sprechening sie Deutche in no time!!
