…Well almost! Today we helped shift everything from the old school into the new one, that was a mission in itself! The furniture men finally came in the afternoon when they were supposed to arrive Sunday – oh well Sri Lankan time! They arrived with an impact of getting themselves stuck in the sand! Ooops! After taking everything off, we tried pushing it many a time but with no hope. I suggested I drive letting the strong men push (presently there were just ladies and children to push!) thinking that they’d say no, being men and lorry drivers at that! Strangely they let me and with some prayer, praise the Lord the lorry came out of the sand! Was hilarious! Everyone thought I was a great driver after that! Haha!

Oh that’s not the end of the story…

The paint was still wet so the men had to repaint them there and then! When all was completed the drama continued when again the lorry got stuck, this time we had too many tries at getting it out (maybe as I wasn’t driving!) and didn’t help as it was getting dark! Finally the lorry succeeded but oh dear there was trouble reversing getting back down the drive with numerous amounts of tries in trying to dodge a tree! Don’t worry guys the lorry did make a getaway at some point in the evening though!
