Well we're finally here!!!  Great trip over but too damn long (there's got to be a  quicker way!!)  Fantastic views of China, Gobi desert and Russia the whole way after a quick stopover in Hong Kong.  Lorraine, John and Josh there to meet us at the airport and then an introduction to the tube (how we're meant to remember how to do it on our own I'm not sure).  Went to sleeep like a light and then woke up to a fabulous misty London day and a really full on tourist day.  Walked for miles and miles (or it seemed like it) and did the London Eye with Josh - am so pleased I did it as I wasn't quite sure that Iwould.  Harrods truly amazing  - in fact its just all pretty amazing actually.  So big and mind-boggling.

Enough from me - Tony wants to write something too.  So bye - off to bed soon to prepare for another day of being a tourist.  (the shoe shops are incredible - so many beautiful Spanish shoes - (Lesley you would go mad!!!)

A good introduction to London from Lorraine and John and Josh. Saw lots of London's iconic buildings. Went to the Kiwi monument that was opened just recently. Rather neat to see it. Going to use a London Pass for the next 3 days-seems to be a good way to do it. Weather has been cold but fine and no worse than some of Napier's winter days.
