There is nothing like being in a Thai police station with your buddy, Jack, who is in his 16th hour of being shoeless.  We got there via taxi pickup truck daredevil who chose to drive the dirt roads up a cliff at 60 kilometers an hour- while it was pouring rain.

We were there to file a police report on some stolen items- like my passport, digital camera, cell phone, some money, and 2 other forms of identification.

There is nothing like being in a Thai police station

Jack was there to make a report on his cell phone and ipod- but I am SURE you can chalk those up to a drunken stupor- along with his sandals.

DONT WORRY- I have a copy of everything and it is all taken care of.  It is just SO SO VERY sad to loose my pictures, ONCE AGAIN.

So a Thai massage was in order.  Jack was lucky enough to get a Thai "lady boy" as his masseuse, and lucky enough yet again to be hit on/fondled by him/her.

For ANYONE that would be tough- but for shoeless hungover Jack- it was just another thing to add to list of ridiculousness in Koh Phangang.  I mean, at this point you HAVE to laugh.

We had ENOUGH of Koh Phangang.

So Jack, Fee and I are going to one of the most BEAUTIFUL beaches in the world, Koh Phi Phi.

We left at 8:30pm- expected arrival time at noon next day.

The first stage was by ferry- an all night ferry.

We now have a bit of a clue what it was like to be sold into slavery- the boat was a sweaty stinky mass of bodies piled onto mats on the floor- along with the creatures that lived there.  The ceiling was 5'3'', with only every other window able to open.  Poor hungover and shoeless (stilllll) Jack had to sleep next to a hole he was certain rats used.  AND we were lucky enough to get THE prime seats right in front of the bathroom/hole in the ground.

Fee was a nervous wreck she would get everything stolen- and for the first time I felt lucky they already stole all of my valuables.

After the boat ride that possibly left us with fleas or ticks, we jumped onto a crowded bus, then another crowded boat.  I have taken note Thai people LOVE to jam pack any and all forms of transportation to maximum capacity- no matter the incline that must be climbed, amount of air circulation or any other concern.  There is no concern- just stuff everyone in!!!

We reached Ko Phi Phi after a grand total of 17 hours of travel.  BY FAR the biggest mission thus far.
