It was time to skip the country again, this time to Eastern Europe.  Fi and I were in Prague for 4 days and it is an absolutely gorgeous city!  The weather was absolutely brilliant with lows 20s and sunshine the whole time we were there - London was still in the low teens so it was a nice change - time to bring out the shorts and thongs!

We started our day with a coffee from Coffee Heaven before venturing out to see the sights.  The cobblestone streets and small alley streets reminded me of Italy.  We first went down to the Old Town Square and saw the Astronomical Clock, after spending about 20 mins looking at it trying to tell the time I gave up!  Next we went to the river to try and grab a photo of the bridges, we just couldn't get it right though...  We walked across the Charles Bridge where there were many stalls with people selling hand crafted things that were just amazing as well as buskers putting on a show all the way along the bridge.

We decided to go on a boat cruise down the river, we were looking for one that had a functional bar and outdoor area to sit but when we tried to tell this to the tour booking place I don't think they really understood and we ended up on a small tug boat that was about 10 times smaller than any other boat on the river!

We spent the afternoon having a couple of drinks along the river before heading out to dinner where we treated ourselves to cocktails and lots of good food!

After again starting the day off with a coffee we ventured to the other side of the river to climb up the hill to visit the castle, we soon found out that to get even a glimpse of the castle you had to go inside which we didn't want to do so we just admired the view before heading back down the hill.  We even found a one man street that has traffic lights at each end as two people can't pass each other!

Fi had caught a head cold and wasn't feeling well so she headed back to the hostel for some rest.  So without my partner in crime to stop me I went on a spending spree - Oops!  There was also a massive Adidas Expo in the middle of the city that had quite a few shows and dances, it was quite entertaining as they were pulling people out of the audience to do exercise programs on bikes and all types of weird things - glad they didn't pick me!

We had quite a relaxed dinner tonight and exhausted after our big couple of days we resided to the hostel and got ready to depart Prague the following.

Prague by far was the most beautiful city I have seen yet!
