Arrived in Exeter on Saturday. Another old house for a youth hostel but also nice and comfortable with friendly people. Exeter itself is not much-a bit like Palmerston North. Went to the movies on Saturday night to see Notes On A Scandal. (not your usual role for Judi Dench but well worth seeing). Sunday saw us on the road to Cornwall to the Eden Project. An amazing place and not to be missed but would have been great to see in summer. Then it was over to Padstein/Padstow. Had fish and chips from Rick Steins fish and chip shop. Cost the equivalent of $15 each. Still the fish was nice and Padstow is a great little fishing village. His presence is everywhere in the village.
