Yeah, yeah Melbourne isn’t technically South Australia, it’s Victoria but then again my favorite Aussie beer Victoria Bitter is brewed in Melbourne and I couldn’t find a pint. Besides, as I mentioned in the Sydney blog this Aussie trip isn’t about the details, it’s about well, doing nothing really. Four months on the road has left me a bit flat about the tourist trail so I’ve decided to continue my Australia trip in Melbourne by not seeing a thing. Honest, I flew in, walked around a couple of days and didn’t do ANYTHING. Not a single museum was had, even though there are a bunch. I did hit some interesting bars, walked around a little and headed to the airport. That was it. Three days of blissful nada but I think it was earned. Melbourne is a great town, sports crazy with a very village-like artsy feel. Everyone should give her a visit and be sure to tell me what I should have done.
