Capela dos Ossos - Chapel of Bones

Riiiiight... annnnnnnyway.  Today I went to the Capela dos Ossos, or Chapel of Bones, in Evora.  It is, as the name would imply, a chapel constructed of bones, presumably as an ancient Halloween prank gone awry.  It is simultaneously awe-inspiring and nauseating, which means that genuflecting in front of the chapel could have served a dual purpose in the days when the chapel was still in use.
