We said our goodbyes to Ian and  Ryan this morning as they were headed  back to the  village. I had really enjoyed having them around,  it always made for an interesting conversation on third world development, politics, faith, and everything else in between.

We spent the rest of the day wondering about the  hills  of  Darjeeling and exploring the Zoo; the pictures speak  for themselves-it was nice to be able to be so close to the animals, but kinda sad at the same time.

We will be heading out of Darjeeling tomorrow morning...

We will be heading out  of Darjeeling tomorrow morning, and begin the next part of our trip into to Nepal. It will take us a few days and 20 hours or so of bus riding, but  I cannot wait...
