Hi all!

Munich was possibly the most fun packed, action filled few days we've experienced as a group. We did a huge amount of drinking but managed to fit in some cultural sight seeing as well.

The centre of Munich is very pretty and the Glockenspiel in particular picking up much attention. Unfortunately the main tower was covered by scaffolding, but you could just make out the moving 'coopers', i believe they're called. However, with the rain being persistent all day we checked out one of Munich's many museums; the Deutsche Museum. This was a phenemonal  museum that explored the history of industries, such as chemistry, biology, aeronautical, mining etc. The exhibits were interactive, which was a real treat, but the crowning glory was meeting a German Doctor of science. He introduced himself to us in a science section and eventually incorporated us into one of his actual experiments.

Bavarians are also very big fans of beer! In particular, the beer gardens. We had a drink in the most famous beer house the 'Hofbrauhaus', drinking beer by the litre is quite an experience! Furthermore, in the beer hall we got talking to a Canadian who happened to be a pro hockey player in the States! This had to be one of the most random experiences ever!

Overall Munich was a great place and turned out to be incredibly fun.

See you soon.

Jamie
