The first day we went to Tombstone, AZ and saw a reenactment of the Shootout at the OK Corral. The Erps won again. This was a fun happening. We had lunch at the OK Cafe. Joan had a Buffalo Burger and Ron had an Emu Burger. Both tasted a lot like Beef. We did a lot of shopping at the neat little shops there. We also got a copy of the Tombstone Editaph which covers the happenings at the corral. We also saw a real for sure stagecoach going down mainstreet in Tombstone.

On the 20th we went to Bisbee, AZ. This was a huge copper mining community until the 1970s when the last one closed. We took a tour of one of the underground mines. We rode a train down into the mine with a guide who used to be a miner. We had a slicker, hardhat and lamp complete with battery pack fastened to the back of each person. We actually saw copper, silver, gold and zinc in the mine along with several semi-precious rocks. We had lunch in the Alley Cafe, which is just that, a cafe set up in an alley. You can eat in - under a sort of roof- or out in the alley among the trees.

We toured the Pima Air Museum and the AMRC storage facility
