Full Moon Party

So the day started out not promising at all.  It rained so heavily all day and we were stuck indoors for the whole day.  We didn't think that it was going to let up at all then suddenly around 6pm it stopped and turned out to be a beautiful evening.  We started at our favourite Seaside sunset bar with drinks and dinner.  We then made our way down to the other beach and oh my god.  There were loads and loads of people.  At least 10,000 people covered the beach and not including those who were inside the bars.  We made our way through the crowd to grab the oh so good bucket, then had to stand on the out skirt of the crowd as not to get lost.  There were so many people staggering around and falling everywhere, obviously one too many buckets for them.  I saw the biggest bucket in the world in one of the liquor stores, it was a huge basin with a package of 12 redbulls, a two six of sangsom and a 2 litre of coke.  COuldn't believe my eyes, drinking that you would definetely have to go to the Betty Ford Clinic after.  It was massive.    Amongst all the dancing and the ravers with thier glowsticks we thought it would be fun to get some body paint on as to glow in the dark with everyone else.  The night turned into early morning with dancing and meeting lots of different people.  It was a lot of fun, but the fact that you couldn't move in between the crowds got a little frustrating.  We finally made it home at 6am, pretty much saw the sun rise and then off to bed.   We spent the next day relaxing and recovering from the night before.  We left on Friday to Krabi where we have met up with 4 other Canadians on the boat trip.  One girl actually life guarded in university with Erin and we were supposed to meet up for the full moon but it didn't work out.  But we met up on the boat.  What a coincidence.  So we are here for a couple days, then we are probably going to Rai Leh beach.
