Easy Day: Moraine Lake & Banff Shopping

Morning came but both of us still very tired from all of our recent hiking. Met Matt & Janine in the kitchen at 10.20am as they had taken us up on an offer of a lift into Banff. Richard & Katrina met us there to and we all drove up to Moraine Lake. Again the weather was perfect and because of the time of day the sun was behind us, so the lake looked at its best ever so we added even more pics to our Moraine Lake collection. After saying our goodbyes and exchanging contact details with Richard & Katrina (both very kindly offered to put us up when were in Oz) we took Matt & Janine to Banff and dropped them at their hostel again we exchanged contact info and they also offered us accommodation when were in Melbourne. We then drove into Banff town where we spent 2 hrs looking around the shops and we had a lovely lunch in a great little greek take away. On the way out of Banff we stocked up on groceries before driving the 58km back to Lake Louise. We went into the village where we bought a cookie and a couple more gifts before getting back to the hostel around 4.50pm. We vegged in the lounge reading and writing the journal before cooking dinner.
