Today is our last full day in Bangkok. We slept in a little and I woke up not feeling my best. To much fun (and beverages) the previous night at Bed. We eventually got moving and headed to our favorite place, Lullaby. We got the doorman at the hotel to get a taxi for us, and the taxi actually used the meter! If I could manage to never have to get a taxi without a native, transportation would be a much easier feat here!!

The taxi whisked us away to Lullaby. Much better to take a taxi than the walk we did earlier! Jeff was curious about the Thai massage after my raving about it, so we both got two hour Thai massages. You may be thinking that we are getting way to many massages while we are here, but they are so cheap that we can't help ourselves! A two hour Thai massage is only 550 baht (around $17 US). A two hour Swedish is expensive at 1000 baht (about $30 US). Its all we can do to keep from going daily! Since we were both getting Thai massages, they put us in rooms next to each other and then opened the curtains between them. I must say that Jeff looked rather cute in his cotton outfit for the massage. I thought about taking a picture, but I thought that he might not want to share that with everyone :). After being rubbed and stretched for two very wonderful hours, we drank our tea and headed out. Added by Jeff, while I wasn't looking. He thinks he is so funny! :)  (Jeff, however, did take Lisa's picture in her outfit and uploaded it to www.HotBabesInThailand.com).

For the first time our whole trip, we got on the metro (subway). There is a station right outside the shopping center that Lullaby is in. You get a little token about the size of a quarter for your ride. It must have some sort of transmitter in it, because you get it close to the right spot on the gate, and the gate opens. You pay more for your ride, depending on how far you want to go (like you do on the SkyTrain), so you need the token to leave the subway as well. My token was a bit frisky, and I kept dropping it. We got off the Metro at a very neat park near the convention center. We walked around a bit before hopping back on the Metro.

Our next stop was (where else) the tailors. Everything (except my blouses) were ready for pickup. Jeff's suits both looked great and fit him so well. His shirts were done correctly now, with the right ones being short and long sleeves. My pants fit great! Happy with our purchased, we headed out. Since we had to pack (and we finally managed to download some episodes of Survivor) to catch up on, we decided to eat light tonight. We spied a Subway restaurant by the SkyTrain, and headed in to get some sandwiches to take back to the hotel. We got off the SkyTrain and for one of the first times since we got here, the hotel shuttle wasn't approaching and we didn't have to run to catch it (it comes about every 15 minutes). We hung out waiting and were so happy for the air conditioning when it finally arrived.

We did some laundry, ate our sandwiches, and watched Survivor. Then we packed. Packing was complicated by the fact that we are spending one night in Phuket before heading to Phi Phi Island. We want to leave most of our luggage in Phuket, so packing is complicated by figuring out what we do and don't need for two nights of island living. Eventually we got it together, mostly because of my fine packing skills. Only having one bag for our trip to the island will be worth it!
