We got off to a later start than we wanted too but not bad. Jamie, Patrick, Evan, Emily, Tracy and me headed back to Yellowstone. We still had not seen the Grand Canyon. It took a lot longer to get there than we though. Not that it was a long delay but the bison stopped us! A herd that was walking across the road. So cool!! They walked up the cars and just stared at us. I know the animals in Yellowstone are posing for pictures! We finally got to the Grand Canyon and it was worth the trip. The waterfalls were incredible. There was a huge rainbow in them. The canyon colors were like a painting. Yes, we even made it down 295 steps (and then back up!) to get a great view. While we were on a trail a doe walked right up to the trail. It was eating about 8 feet from about 15 people! After it ate a little bit it decided to walk towards everybody and head down the trail. Incredible! We then headed to Lake Jenny. There is a boat you take across for the hiking trails. We all took the short hike to a waterfall. It wasn’t as big as the others we saw today but much more intense looking. There are a lot of rocks so instead of a flow of water there is water crashing into rocks as it came down. Beautiful! Tracy and I went to a steak/game dinner that night. It was a nice place but just an above average meal though. Well, even though we were tired we knew we had to get to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar before we left. Even for a Sunday night it was crowded. Cool bar but we could only make it through half a beer. So a great vacation for Tracy and me. It’s not a place we would have typically gone and that is what made it so good. Yellowstone, bison crossing the road, white water rafting, eagle watching, Old Faithful and the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Things we had to see to appreciate… and now we have. Thank you mom and dad!!!

They are like rock stars posing for pictures!
