Burnt my arm on Helens Birthday

Thank you to all who either sent an Email or text or rang Helen on her big 58th Day. She got a few surprises this morning. Brian gave me a bag at Warwick that contained two specials for Helen and I hid them in my cupboard. Then on Sunday while at the Bathurst Markets I in desperation had a good look at bits and bought two necklaces in Helens prefered colours, so I got a bonus point for remembering, but lost my point for not wrapping it up. While getting breakfast ready I lent over the jug while it was boiling and got a steam burm on the under side of my right arm. And I grabbed the arm and in doing so rubbed off 50mm of the badly burnt skin. I ran cold water over it, then wrapped it in a wet chux and went to see a chemist. The chemist said it was too big for him and I'd have to see a Doctor. Saw a Dr and got it dressed and will have to see another one in Cowra in two days time. Even with the bandage on it is very tender to touch. This weekend in Bathurst is a Ford Model A Rally. 180 old cars are due and quite a number are staying at this Big 4 Van Park. Some have arrived under their own means, and some have arrived in luxury towed behind huge buses, which are obviously home for the owners. We were going to do a Historic tour of Bathurst, but we are just about through with old buildings faze and need to see something new. No more waterfalls, escarpments, old buildings, old cars, we've got to find something different. While at the airport we found two well restored Migs and no one around for the price on a scenic run. Cool breeze tonight and for dinner we are going to the Bathurst RSL in Rankin Street.
