diarrhoea's just shit!

Pobre Riccardo. Tiene dolor de estomago!  At Pizza Nuevo in santiago which the lonely planet claimed to be both cheap and fine food but which turned out be be neither.  Riccardo contracted food poisoning from an inadequately heated through Lasagne and has a runny bum.  He gamely made it through the roller coaster ride from santiago to baracoa but is feeling rather bad.  As he put it 'diarrhoea's just shit'!

Baracoa is lovely but unfortunately hace un poco tempestuso - hopefully will calm down a bit soon and I 'll be able to go back in the sea!

Don't worry I'm ok now! But it was grim. The irony was that it was the poshest place we've been to so far, that gave me food poisoning. The dodgy looking chicken and pork sandwiches you get from street vendors have been fine!! At the moment Fenella is in bed with a bit or a sore stomach, maybe she caught something from me, I hope not.

Today we went on a nice walk to this river near Baracoa, and were able to have a nice swim. Loads of photos but can't upload them yet. Also had a couple of problems with jinteros - I've told Fenella from now on she's barred from making friends. Mind you, does she ever listen to me?? Not sure who is actually reading this blog (if anyone) so if you do read it leave a comment or something, it would be nice to hear from you!! R
