The Ibiza of Oz

We had a shower at turtle sands campsite, the first for two days, then set off for Noosa, another beach town with apparently scenic walks.

When we arrived it was very busy, being the last weekend of summer holidays and Australia day weekend may have had something to do with it. We tried but failed to find a parking spot near the information centre, and so decided to drive along the sunshine beach road until we found a camp site.

We drove past Sunshine beach and on into Peregian Beach, where we found a campsite and booked in. We parked on our spot and went for a walk to the beach. It was a nice beach, and the sunshine coast stretched for about 16 Kms end to end, we had views all the way along. We picked up a chinese on the way back to the van, and it went well with a bottle of white wine......
