We went to Appenzell which is a farming area. Then we realised it was not really that scenic after all. So we went into Austria - Swiss border city of Bregenz for a short round trip to sense the taste of Austrian life. We walked along lake Constance before heading back to Switzerland again as we need to go to the Rhine falls later on.
We realised the types of train used for different countries were very distinct but the best part is they accept swiss francs!
