Yes... I am a tourist too!

So one of my favorite things to do in Costa Rica so far, is drive around with my host family. The driving here is crazy and I love putting total trust in the driver and just enjoying the ride.  While our travel time today was  over an hour and my host parents usually just talk to eachother, I loved the trip up to the Parque Nacional Volcan -- IRAZU.  I spent most of my time staring out the window, letting my eyes get huge when we almost nail a bike rider or get hit by a massive tourist bus, and also trying to figure out what my host parents are singing and laughing about.

When we arrived... it  was expremely foggy and even a little misty, but non the less... we headed up to park our car and walk around this once active volcano. It was really cool.  there were three spots that were once active and the one of the "cataracts" still had green water in it because of the sulfur.

I loved the trip up to the Parque Nacional Volcan -- IRAZU.

I have really been trying not to seem or act like a tourist, but the fact is, that I just stick out. I actually felt like I belonged there because there were people there from Japan, France, Germany and even the U.S.

I hope to get pics up soon!
