Firstly i forgot to mention that when i was in Melbourne for crimbo, i made my bro fashion a handlebar mustache for the entire time, thus being ridiculed by the whole of victorias society for 3 weeks, just to keep me happy- thanks james.
Going against everyone's recommendations ( and a healthy 5 star hotel) i trundled upto Sydney via Canberra (glad i was only there for 3 hours; i was done with the wild parties and good times to be had by all there 700,000 population). I got there at midday and by about 5, i still had found no accommondation, due to the bloody barmy army still causing chaos around the town.

So the first night for me was a lovely little spot under a tree with my 2 bags. Positives where that my room for the night was very airy and spacious with a view that many would be hundreds a night to be in. I knew i wasn't going to sleep very well so i trecked around for the evening up at kings cross, which is a horrible horrible hole. Very seedy; similar to walkabout swindon, friday evening (miss that place). Terrible nights sleep, and i got bit to hell as well.

I managed to store my bag in some travel place for the night, and the crew at this place where going out for there christmas party and some girl had bailed. One invite and 2 jagerbombs later i was ripping up the dance floor, to some well known DJ in aus (have no idea who he was).Good night, but i had no slept for 2 going on 3 nights, and still had no accom. I found some hostel at 4 in the morning, nd have been staying there since. Good banter in there, and it's quite relaxed (plus they have a my name is earl night on there everynight).

Yeah, so Sydney is a really ace place too. The weather has been just sweet! There are loads of things happening, especially since i have fallen into to the Sydney festival period. Me and Robbo went to a Jazz festival last night, which was packed. There are tonnes of free things that are free to do and see outdoors at the moment, and there are some really nice areas around. I bought a surfboard so have been ripping up bondi. I know the beach is a little bit cliche, but there is a super vibe down there. Everyone is just well happy that it's summer, and having fun in the water.. Manly is exactly the same, plus there are a whole bunch of other nice beaches around, so thats what i'm dedicating most of next week to.
Randomly bumped into one of james's friends from fenny too. He lives in Manly so i hope to meet up with him some time in the week, and if i can be arsed i may go up to palm beach for the day for a surf (where home and away is filmed).
So i'm going to spend at least next week here, then it's off up the coast to meet up with the infamous Garath Jacques.BSc.
oh, i'm also now addicted to sushi and ice coffee, and i have tried to upload some photo's but this site is being a trouble maker, so have a look in a few days.xx
