The whole point of coming here was to do my PADI Open Water as it's as cheap here as in the Bay Islands, Honduras.  Decided on Big Fish as they did the Open Water for $225.

The evenings seemed to be quiet when I first got to Caye Caulker and they didn't get that much better.  Had a really good time but most places seem to close at about 1am and there's not that much choice.  Not necesarily a bad thing as diving with a hangover probably isn't that good, as we found out 1 day when the sea was pretty rough and we were pretty hungover or ill.  All 4 of us on the boat were feeling ill (including the instructor) when we were setting up the gear.  We were OK when we were in the water but in the time between dives we all felt worse.  The instructor was sick over the side of the boat and 1 guy was sick underwater.  Class!

My last dives were in the Hol-Chan marine park and I saw nurse sharks, a turtle 3 eagle rays and a whole bunch of other cool fish.  A quality way to end my Open Water!

Getting sick of Belikin beer.  3 or 4 bottles just make me feel damn rough.  Decided not to drink anymore of it.  Unfortunately Belikin is the main beer in Belize and the imported Heiniken is really expensive.  No more boozing for me.
