Early Friday morning, Nori, Jacob, and I left to spend the day in Salzburg. We arrived around noon at spend a couple hours touring the city, viewing such sights as Mozart's birth home, the Dom zu Salzburg (cathedral) and many other local sights and attractions. At 2pm Nori and I boarded a bus for the Sound of Music tour. It was absolutely hillarious in that it is the most touristic thing I have done thus far. Packed onto a bus filled with English speaking individuals and a flamboyant tour guide I did all I could to surpress my laughter not only at the Indian woman behind us singing with full guster along with the soundtrack, but also at the Asian tourists snapping pictures of everyone and everything at any moment. All in all, the tour was a great way to see all of Salzburg, though by the end of the day Nori and I were ready to head back to Heidelberg.
I did all I could to surpress my laughter...
