Cavtat
From Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Sicily, Italy Summer 2007 in Cavtat, Croatia on Jul 12 '07
A delightful ferry boat ride south of Dubrovnik, is the cute coastal town and village of Cavtat.
There are two beautiful bays with steep green mountain ridges separating the two. The cute outdoor cafes and art shops make these two bays very picturesque and enjoyable. There are many narrow stepped alley ways rather than streets leading up into the hills. Ohy the steps.
OHY THE STEPS - Thick, Lush and Dramatic Views
There are several pleasant and and picturesque beaches set in the pine forests with direct access to the Adriatic. Be sure and hike the mountain ridge thru the forest for the most dynamic views, and rocky cliffs peering into magnificant tourquise colored water. Take the trail of steps from the mountain top over the ridges and cliffs and down the ladders into a fabulous swim in the Adriatic. Just be sure and have your life insurance policy current. LOL.
The rock and cliff formations of Cavtat resemble those of the Isle of Capri in Italy. Need I say more. Enjoy some pictures.
