Animal Kingdom

Claire, Helen and I got up early Sunday morning and headed for Animal Kingdom (a new addition to the Walt Disney world!!) The men stayed at home and chiilled by the pool and after Chris and Neil headed out to watch the final of the European championship or something like that.

Yet another magical end to another great day!!

As soon as us girls got to Animal Kingdom we headed for the Safari, one of Claire's friend said you see more animals in the morning, and we did. We were taken on a safari ride out into the animal reserve and we saw giraffes, hippos, rhinos, elephants, ostriches, the back end of a lion and lots more animals!! It was so amazing and now i want to go on a week long safari!! We went to Dinosaur land and went on a few rides, one of which was where you got chased by a dinosaur, i almost wet my knickers i was so scared!! Lucky i was protected by my two older sisters!! It was really hot so we went on the rapids to cool us down and we got soaked!! We also saw some monkeys and we wanted to go on the new mt Everest ride but it was shut and when it reopened there was a massive Q.

We had regular updates during the morning from Chris and Neil and unfortunately Tottenham were pushed down to 5th place in the league after having stayed at 4th for the whole season so Neil and Chris needed consoling when we got back to the Villa!!

We had a game of volleyball in the pool, girls against boys!! then we got ready to go to the light parade and fireworks at Magic Kingdom, which were absolutly amazing and yet another magical end to another great day.
