It was expected to be a crowded race track and we expected to face a tough time getting to the race, but it wasn't as bad as expected, infact it wasn't bad at all. We got into the subway train 2 blocks from our hotel and we were there in a jiffy. It was a long walk to the actual track but the weather was good, and we looked forward to see our favorites perform.

The party was divided, most Ferrari supporters, but Batra was a die hard Montoya fan and Chuggie for his lack of favorites decided to support McLaren.

pretty close to the cars on a straight as we saw cars zip past with a deafening roar

We did have pretty bad tickets. In our last race we had awesome grandstand tickets, but this time we had to settle for general admission tickets which didint offer much of a view. But it got us pretty close to the cars on a straight as we saw cars zip past with a deafening roar. Schumacher won, which was good and just as we tried to leave a little early to beat the rush we saw this huge accident, as Massa hit the tyre wall and one of his tyres flew into the crowd. Fortunately, no one was hurt. But the track is spectacular and we had a great time. For next time, we will spend more and get good tickets.

The return was pretty hasty, we wanted to beat both the trafic back to our hotel and also the trafic back to the US border. We got into the jam packed train and were on the way. luck was on our side, we were on the second train out of the track and then very quickly at the border. That was quicker than expected, took only about an hour. By the time we were in US, we were famished, it took about an hour more to find a good food exit and the food was good. The rest of the drive was pretty and uneventful. It was back to work tomorrow.
