Geneva is the most ridiculously expernsive/boring place i have EVER been!!!!!??!?!?

We have been here two days, and after like 6 hours we had already exhausted the city.  Food has been ridiculously and unnecessarily expensive!! Dont these people know what WENDYS is??? jk. no but seriously, a normal dinner for four, no alcohol or dessert...came out to be 200$??!!

They only have name brand stores...no Kholes my savy thrift store friends...and WHat do you think of when you think swiss?? CLOCKS! right?! WELL, these watches are the most expensive watches Ive ever seen...even more than a Gucci designer bag...so clearly we had to get one...the bag i mean. oh and there are lots of swiss knives.

There are three official languages in Switzerland:

French

German

and Italian

and lots of them know English....

I once had a convo about how Border towns are the weirdest towns ever. ANd they are. Geneva is a perfect example of that.  It is so random and strange.

The only notable site was the very pretty water/lake that was a beautiful aqua color; there is a huge fountain in the middle that shoots way up in the air. We arent sure of the purpose it has...wasting energy I guess.

We did go to the restaurant in our Hotel the first night.  What an event. We had great fondu, it really is the best here (three cheeses!) and then followed that with CHocoLATE FondU! wow. amazing.

THey had a live band. or might i say two guys who could play everything from the spoons to the saw to the big bass, to the coins, to the alpine horn, to the cow bells, to the accordian, to the electric guitar--AND he yodeled. of course he played eidelweiss and we all sang along. pathetic. emabaressing. a perfect place to take you kids for pure torture and secret fun. "oh ze hiws a aliva"-sound of music en za sherman akzent!

so basically we sit in our room alot and eat Toblerone chocolate.  Interesting place with lots of dead rats...Im glad I can say I have been to Geneva, but I wouldnt go back.

WEll...off to Bologna tomorrow.

By the way--the EuroRAil is AMAZING.
