Hai Van Pass

Had an early start today returning from Hoi An to Danang. I stayed along the waterfront and due to the time restrictions I thought it best to tackle the Hai Van Pass. The scenery was stunning but it became difficult to concentrate on anything but the climb. Ten km later brought me to the crest of the pass where cold fluids and relief from the saddle were welcomed. I had more opportunity to enjoy the views on the downslope. The end of my ride brought me into the sleepy town of Lang Co mid afternoon.
