It's like a tree, but it's like a melted tree. Oh yeah, the buildings in the back are where they show you how they invented lightbulbs, the ability to record and transmit sound...ya da ya da

Bit of an odd one this. Couldn't face the thought of waiting around for two hours for a connection to Orlando via Miami (i.e. shed) so bluffed a lift with a German bloke up to Tampa. Thoroughly nice chap, poor bastard had to suffer memaking his right ear bleed with my insescent wittering for four hours, but I think I did my bit for Glasnost. In keeping with his own comedy german accent, he also had a german version of tom tom barking orders at him throughout the journey (achtung, schnell, schnell, for you ze journey ist over etc). On his insistance we stopped over at the Edison museaum in Fort Myers - pfffft talk about extra sums. I know his man revolutionised the modern world with light bulbs and stuff, but as far as I could see all he had to show for it was a big shed with a car and test tubes and the light bulbs to light it I guess. On the plus side there was a great tree outside that I took lots of pictures of. After we realised we should've paid to see the shed and the test tubes, we bust a move out of town. I think we could've taken the pensioner volunteers, but you know the germans - they're not a war like race.
