The departure day had finally come and we were ready to go, but not before a half a day at the office for both of us. The morning started off very slow, as usual when you are looking forward to a trip, but soon picked up, and before i knew it it was 2:30 and i was packing a few last minute things, and waiting to get scooped up by Sandy (and fam) to go to the airport. The flight went well, a little over 3 hours and we were touching Colombian ground. We were picked up by 37 of Sandys closest famiy members, and im not sure if this page has enough rom to name them all but we will give it a shot!! Grandma Hortencia, Aunt Tita and Uncle Armondo and threr 3 kids, Santi, Ale, and Vero (was sleeping). Also uncles Alex, With his 2 daughters - Steph, and Valeria. After I met...and hugged everyone 3 times, we were on our way home at around 11pm...drivers are crazy here!!! When we got home we talked for a little more, ate Sandy´s favorite Colombian dish "Cazuela" and hit the sack.
