We finally made it to Hong Kong where our tour has come to an end.  I would say overall we are happy to get back to some Western amenities but of course are a little sad to say goodbye to all of the great people we met on our tour.  We really had a great group and I think that has also been a big part of our experience here in China.

We have been here now almost a week and we are lucky enough to have friends with whom we are staying.  It has been wonderful to see them after many, many years and we have enjoyed their hospitality immensely.

There are so many sights to see here in this great city alone.  We have been up to Victoria Peak but unfortunately couldn't really see the city as it was fogged in (or pollutioned in).  We have been to the Temple street and stanley markets and spent much money on souvenirs.  We went to see the Big Buddha on Lantau island which was a lovely cable car ride up to the top of the island.  And most importantly we have done some relaxing and visiting with our friends.

Today we are going to try and pack our bag and see if everything fits in our backpacks and extra bag that we bought and we will catch our flight back to Vancouver tomorrow.
