As a child, my parents bought a timeshare property in Lake Buena Vista ensuring that once a year we would make the pilgrimage to Walt Disney World for a little family vacation in the fun and sun of Florida. Well, my sister and I are older now, MUCH older and decided it was time to return to those childhood days after many years of absence. So my sister and her husband, as well as Brian and I made the journey down to Florida to re-live our childhood, help my sister and Mike celebrate their delayed honeymoon, and just plain 'ole getaway.

We had a really enjoyable trip filled with a lot of laughter and even some fighting (which is typical for my family, so no worries there). Brian and I completed the marathon theme park schedule by visiting two Disney parks per day and then spending an entire day at Sea World. When the option came about for us to go to Universal Studios, we passed for a day sitting by the pool and relaxing instead.

By far the best day was Sea World. Not only were the marine shows throughout the park AWESOME, but since last I had been, Sea World has added two roller coasters! Thats right, the mother of all thrill rides, roller coasters; one of them is a water ride as well! After riding each of them about six or seven times we bought tickets to dine with shamu, tank side at Shamu stadium. We battled through the frequent down pours to have a fun, but wet diner with Shamu.

Overall, the trip was a well needed and deserved break away from home and work for all of us and helped to write  another chapter in my families long history with the Orlando, FL area.
