So I went to New York City for the first time- and I had no idea what to expect. Well, I shouldn't have worried, because I immediately feel in love with the city. I got so emotional the first night there, that I couldn't stop crying at random moments. Over a course of 4 days, I got to see as much of the bottomless city as I could. The basics- the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, The World Trade Center.. all the tourist basics on theNYC list. An rather uniquething going on inRockefeller Center was that they were in the process of putting up that very famous Christmas Tree, in the middle of the square. It was rather fun to watch: with all the cranes and everything. On Saturday afternoon, I attented the US Premiere of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, on 54th and 6th Avenue. By complete accident,I mustadd since I pretty much stumbled onto it. It was going on at the theaterright across the street from the Hilton hotel I was at in Manhattan.I got to see all the young stars, (not to mention their extremely huge fan base) and it was a rather unforgettable expererience. Most of the trip was spent shopping for clothes and souvenirs, just wandering around, and enjoying the beauty of the city. It was truly wonderful trip, and to be completely honest I'm now considering moving there!! I know I contradict myself as a traveller here, since I can't live in every beautiful place I visit, but my career would allow me to move there eventually. And I can't wait, because I'm sureyou can spend 3 months in New York and still find something new to do on your doorstep.
The City so great they name it twice
