Second Day Is Dragging
From Camino de Santiago in Larrasoana, Spain on Mar 14 '06
Last night we slept with 16 men and, let me tell you it was exhausting. Seriously, it was such a long night, the one guy snored like a train coming through. In the morning we were out by 7:30 and walking. We walked in the morning with George from Hungary and then when we stopped at a gas station to pee he went on. This walk was easier in that it was not as much up and up, ie. the mountains were smaller. However the lack of sleep made us drag. Our legs were like, what do you mean you want to walk. Met up with George again and then we went in a market. After our oj and nannas we felt much better. Climbed up and up and up again and were rewarded with such beautiful views. Amazing green rolling fields and horses and sheep and mountians and forests and little villages. Did our 13.75 miles (22k), and then at 2 reached Zubiri, our stop for tonight. Found a lovely place to stay with free internet. Our friends all started showing up a while later. Amazing, amazing day.
But beautiful
