So... first thing it's off to the post office to send that box.  Wait for the post office to open and then join the queue (my favourite) and THEN we're told that the box is too big... so.. it turns out that the guy at the OTHER US Postal office led us up the garden freakin' park!  Now I feel sick!  What now?

Greg says we're not going to deal with it until AFTER Universal studios.. we'll go to Walmart tonight and sort it out.. we only have two more nights in the RV and we need to be completely sorted.

So.. it's off to Universal Studios.  Well.. Charlie was having a crisis.. turns out Mama Bear packed the hair straightener in one of the suitcases that is now underneath the RV and all sealed up and without the straightener she can't manage to get out of the RV and she's telling us she will be staying in the RV in the carpark all day due to this 'crisis'.  OMG.. tell my why I had children again?

Turns out.. as things pan out with 12 year olds.. it's not just the straightener, it's now the wrong jeans, then the top.. then it's the "I hate this holiday' speech we've heard a bezillion times.. deep breath.. this sounds like a job for Greggy.. we don't want a murder on our hands.. best bring in the calm cavalry... while I mind the other cherub who loves the drama.. he knows how to bring out the 'best' in his sister.

Are you breathing in with me?  In 2-3-4 and out 2-3-4 !

So.. half an hour later.. even Greggy fired up but we all managed to get there in the end.. within 2 seconds of walking in the entrance to Universal, you'd swear nothing happened.. Sybil.. I have a daughter I should have named Sybil.. I have absolutely no idea where this temper and moodiness comes from.. (erhum.. what's the sudden frog in the throat)?

So.. Universal was GREAT !  We all had a fantastic day!  Weather wise it drizzled a little on and off all day, but that kept the crowds away.  The longest wait we had was for the Simpsons Ride which was about a 5 minute wait.. apart from that, it was smooth sailing all the way.  The studio tour was awesome, the stunt shows were terrific.  Excellent day, just great.  Well worth the trip!

And how did princess like it? Well.. lets just say she was VERY glad we didn't let her stay in the RV for the day!

After Universal, we headed to Walmart to find some suitcases.  This was bad bad bad.. Walmart loves to sell things in sets of 5!  You know.. get the cruddy 28" suitcase and 4 other smaller ones.. Well.. we don't want 4 small suitcases.. and we need a suitcase a whole lot bigger than a useless 28".  Look, I'm feeling ill reliving this whole 'looking for suitcases' nonsense in this blog.. so I'm not going to go into detail.. but I will say that after 4 hours of driving around and around from Walmart to Kmart to Target we still had no suitcases.. and then when we stumbled across a shop that appeared to stock LARGER cases, we turned up at 915pm.. the store closed at 9pm... nah.. you don't really want this story..

So.. arrived late at the RV camp, and went to bed.. tomorrow is another day, I'm knackered !
