Getting Closer

After leaving Spokane very, very early in the morning, we finally arrived in Miami that evening, after traveling all day via airplane.  Being a girl that has never left the Mountains of the Western United States, I was in for a big surprise.  Florida was flat!  There were no hills or mountains, just flat land as far as you could see.  I guess it would be the same feeling for someone that has never been in the mountains before, a feeling of amazement.

Amazement and warmth.  It was the end of January and we didn't have to wear jackets and gloves.  It was great.  I am going to have to visit Florida more often in January.

Not much else except the "night before the wedding" jitters happening.  It was again another night of going to bed to prepare for the next day.
