Before the plays we went to "Top of the Rock"and saw the view of NYC from the 70th floor. It is mind boggling how big the city is, yet how small the island is -- if that makes any sense.
Top of the Rock is definitely hte palce to go if you want a birds eye view of the Empire State Building, Central Park, Statue of Liberty and more.
Central Park may be the greatest thing about New York.....
From there we went to our plays and enjoyed them greatly.

Dinner was at the ESPN Zone in Times Square. After dinner we rode the subway for the first time and went "uptown" to the "West Side" by "The Park".
We exited the subway on 72nd street, next to the Dakota apartments. As we walked down the street, I was a little shocked to be at the place John Lennon was shot, when Ann told be to take a picture. I, of course, didn't get it, and didn't react fast enough to snap a picture of Yoko Ono as she walked to a limo.
A real celebrity citing.

From there we walked through a section of the Park. Central Park may well be the greatest thing about NYC and if a person could afford to live on the upper West side, would be reason enough to live here.
From the Park we headed back to the Subway to go to the Port Authority to meet the Breedloves as they made their entrance into the city. We led them to Times Square for their first experience of the lights and action, then headed to Planet Hollywood where they ate dinner and we endulged ourselves with dessert.
And the night soon ended with another trip browsing through some stores, then a bus ride back to the hotel.
