After four days in St. Lucia I packed my things again and left ... Swaziland and its beautiful hiking trails were waiting for me :)

I figured out a way to get there via public transportation and was hoping, that it would work out. Because I had to take at least five different buses to get to the spot I wanted to get ... Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary

At the end I had to take 7 different buses, two times I changed buses in the middle of roads, because the bus driver knew that a bus I needed next was passing us inthat moment, so he gave the other bus a sign to stop (what a service and that way I didn't loose to much time waiting for buses), over the border to Swaziland I walked, because there was no international bus service, countless kids were sitting on my lap, music was loud and the buses were packed as usual, it took me a whole day and the last 5 km I hiked up to the hostel with all my luggage ... but I made it and it was way cheaper than the BazBus ... :-) ... I was really pleased :-) ... and it was always a great experience to travel by local transportation.

Swaziland reminded me a little bit of Lesotho, but it was different in the same time ... the little round huts, the clicking in the language, the friendly people ... I liked this country as well :-)

The hostel was located in the middle of Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary and they had also a campground. So I camped there as well :-) Since you can't do that much after darkness we always met in the living room of the hostel ... and there I watched a lot of movies every night I was staying there ... Kassy from Colorado, Arch, a Peace Corp, original from Oregon, Amy from Canada, Mati from the Netherlands, TR from New Zealand, two gals from Argentina ... we all watched one movie after another, a lot of crap, no doubt ... we always were wondering, why?!? And somehow it was great!! :-)

I also got my visa for Mozambique in Mbabane ... the cheapest place for all nationalities to get ... only R85 ... South Africa is way more expensive ... as a little tip, if you ever want to go ;-)

The best part was, that we did some day hikes every day and the main reason for me to travel here :-) ... it was really beautiful to hike trough the hilly scenery .... zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, ... one day we hiked up a mountain (some would have called it hill ;-) ...) and from where we had a great overview over the valley ... it was great and vry relaxing :-)
